Auckland Girls is situated on the side of a hill overlooking Auckland's Waitemata Harbour. It is adjacent to the city's oldest park, Western Park, and is surrounded by beautiful historic trees and gardens.
As an inner city school, Auckland Girls is within walking distance of many cultural resources such as libraries, art galleries, museums and major tertiary institutions. It is also close to the Central Business District which provides work experience and study opportunities for students.
Students come to Auckland Girls from all over Auckland. We are very close to the Central City and buses and trains are frequent. For bus and timetable information please call MAXX on 366 6400 or visit the web site, www.maxx.co.nz.
In additon to the public bus and train service, we currently have three school buses which serve the areas where a large proportion of our students live. Our school buses are run by Stagecoach and subsidised by the Auckland Regional Council and one is an independent bus service. Timetables of school bus routes are given to all new students on enrolment. Students need their ID cards to purchase tickets at student rates.
